Sounds interesting, but I have a question and a suggestion. The question is,
(how) does this relate to the Koi project? The suggestion is, I think it
would be a good idea to find a different id for the project that won't be
confused with "ecommerce".

I don't know of any specific plans for an Eclipse ecommerce project but I
could easily imagine one in the future. When I first saw
eclipse.technology.ecomm, ecommerce was my first thought. So I think
something like "com", "comm", or "communic" would be better. I don't suggest
"ecp" because it is too close to "ercp" and "rcp".
