If you are using the MW and prefer a separate mapping tool to an IDE integrated one I would appreciate hearing from you. We want to understand your requirements and your development environment/process.

Hello Doug,

we're now using Toplink for quite a while and i really love the MappingWorkbench, because e.g. when you change the attributename the MW does all for you including some checks and some more.

I haven't yet found a tool for dali or eclipselink which does the same for me.
On the DB we use abbreviations for the columnname and want to use long names in the Java environment....

So for now it's quite hard work if you generate the mapping from the db and then try to rename everything by hand....

What's the current state of contributing the MW to eclipse... or to integrate support for the eclipselink in Toplink MW?

or is there a way to achieve this ?
