Yes there is some progress in that I've got EclipseLink packaged as a set
of bundles. Now we're ready to move on to getting all the existing
EclipseLink/EMF tests running. Once we have those running we'll be
submitting the code to the IP review process so we can get approval to
check the code into the Teneo CVS repository. I'm not sure if the
parallel IP review process applies. This would allow us to check in the
code right away but not include it in a release until the review was
completed.
Note that the "official" way to package EclipseLink into bundles hasn't
been settled on so we'll have to do some migration once that is figured
out. The ideas and issues around packaging EclipseLink for OSGi is being
tracked on the wiki [1]. In the meantime, the packaging I've come up with
will let us proceed.
