EclipseLink is delivering a JPA implementation that competes with 
Hibernate. We believe we have a solution that offers greater functionality 
and performance. 

We are just starting our work on packaging EclipseLink as an Equinox/OSGi 
bundle to enable its usage in RCP applications. We have an initial effort 
showing its usage with JPA, JAXB, and SDO. We would be interested in 
verifying our proposed solution against your RCP application and getting 
any feedback based on your experience.

Can you send us a brief description of your usage of Hibernate in RCP 
along with any issues and solutions to our users mailing list

We can then discuss the two solutions and get the best possible JPA in 
Equinox/OSGi within the Eclipse ecosystem.
