Hello,
I just downloaded ECESIS and looked at the content, it seems interesting
and I would be willing to participate as well if there was a way to do
it nicely.
But first I would like to raise some points linked to the ones raised by
christophe ARNAL in an earlier post.
First of all, maybe it could be wise to use an open source format for
presentation sources.
I am specifically thinking about OpenOffice.org Presentation format.
This format is an open source format and OOffice can generate
proprietary format files which would allow anyone to see the files (in
.sxi for ooffice users and other formats, PowerPoint, StarDraw,
StarImpress for those who prefer these formats)
Next, I would like to point to the fact that the "java programming with
eclipse" course, which is licensed under the CPL contains on each page
in the bottom right hand corner a copyright mention for a company called
Esperity Inc. Is this coherent with the CPL ?
Last, is there some page to keep track of the translation effort on the
different courses ?
I would like to work on a french translation of ECESIS, but it would be
a shame if christophe and I, or some other people, did the work several
times for nothing.
