A topic came up the other day about programming a Lego Mindstorms
construct to test out various materials for various properties. The
project itself is fun (silly) but the intention behind it is very serious
and useful. The intent is to provide a project that will allow senior
thesis project students a chance to demonstrate their mastery of their
Software Engineering undergraduate degree program.
Does anyone know of a system for programming Lego Mindstorms that hooks
into Eclipse? The project isn't about how well students can program
and/or hack - it's about the engineering design.
