[ews.eclipse.technology.desk] Withdrawing the proposal

After talking with some of the possible contributors I've decided that 
the proposed Eclipse Desktop Integration project is not the best way to 
work on integration issues at this time. Desktop integration work will 
instead proceed in other forums such as the Platform project, in 
independent open source projects, and at various member companies.

For example, Matt Conway has an active project on SourceForge you may be 
interested in called Sunshade (http://sunshade.sourceforge.net).

This newsgroup and related material will be decommissioned shortly.
