Sure they do, in 2005. In 1995 when AWT was being developed, that was not the case, nor is the list of platforms the same today: Mac OS 7/8 are long dead, and OS/2 Presentation Manager is, um, well, oh! where was I? :-)


The real problem for AWT is that, once the decision was made to develop Swing, the set of AWT has been in maintainance-only mode.
