Great question. The answer is absolutely NO!

In fact I plan to make such a contact very soon to explore collaboration 
opportunities. Note that collaboration does not necessarily mean developing 
a common codebase. That possibility exists if our respective feature 
objectives overlap to that level. Also the level and direction of a 
collaboration will be coordinated with the PMCs.
