We currently don't have a public extension for this use case.  The only 
workaround is discussed in bug 175177 - 
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=175177.

I will make sure that this item is discussed at our next planning meeting, 
tentatively scheduled for mid-July.
