I have enabled the option to "Automatically give all projects CME nature"
(the "Remove CME Nature" option on the context menu is appropriately
disabled).

The .log file (in the .metadata folder) is disconcertingly sparse - just a
couple of messages pertaining to the demo.puma & demo.conman projects
('Skipping builder org.antlr.eclipse.core.antlrbuilder ...').  Nothing
whatsoever concerning my project.
