If I provide a set of jar'ed RCP plug-ins to be downloaded via
url.catalog, will buckminster inspect and attempt to materalize the
dependencies of those jars? Do I need to supply a feature set or update
site for this kind of dependency management.
I would like to supply a set of approved plug-ins that developers across
our organization will use for the Eclipse RCP target platform. I'm
thinking the simplest way to do this is create a rmap that has a
searchPath readerType of url.catalog and componentType of osgi.bundle. I
would then place basically all of the Eclipse plug-ins that we are using
on our internal web site. Not all of the plug-ins made available will be
used so it didn't seem appropriate to create a feature.
