Eclipse Review Process

    a.. Brian will be scheduling the review for Milestone .7 for February, 
depending on the final analysis by Kim and Summer on the impact of having 
the three Cognizant developers taking the week of Christmas off.
    b.. QA will be posting test plans and test results to the Eclipse site 
based on turnover 03-Feature Complete.  01/04/07 - QA has files that can be 
posted.  Robert will make these PDF format and send to Tim, Brian, Mary, and 
Kim for review.
    c.. We still need to add a milestone page to our website with downloads 
to each. (Tim will lead this.)  10/05/06 - Tim is researching this; he'll 
talk to Kevin about helping once we know what we want to do.  10/12/06 - Tim 
is working on this.  Will probably be done next week.  10/19/06 - Tim has 
made progress, but has not uploaded this yet.  11/02/06 - Tim is waiting for 
approval from Eclipse to post the ZIP file for .3 milestone.  He will e-mail 
about the status of this today.  11/09/06 - approval to post with Axis .JAR 
files has been given by Eclipse.  Active BPEL version needed for .3 
milestone are no longer available for download.  Tim will upload our ZIP 
file with a note about this.  He will also contact Axis and Active End Point 
about these missing files.  11/30/06 - Active End Point has made their files 
available.  We have not heard back from Axis.12/07/06 nothing from Axis. 
Will to deliver M7 with latest version of Active BPEL. Axis will included in 
the final download.  01/04/07 - this is no longer an issue.
    a.. Kevin suggests that we post our plans to meet exit criteria to the 
new groups so we are communicating our plans and expectations to everyone 
prior to our Release Review.  10/12/06 - our plans were posted to the ALF 
website yesterday.  10/19/06 - Brian and Summer are working on a 
communication plan to go out to the Eclipse community to get feedback on our 
plans.  11/2/06 - this has been posted and we're waiting on feedback. 
11/30/06 - We're getting feedback from Eclipse committers.  Brian is 
planning to set up a meeting so everyone can talk.  Initial feedback on our 
plan has been positive. 12/07/06 talked to Tim Wagner from BEA - good 
meeting. Will likely do rest of meeting en mass. Not set up yet. Plenty of 
feedback from Tim to digest. Not communicating everything we need to on the 
Website. Internal meeting tomorrow to address Tim Wagner's feedback. Brian 
is putting together list of changes for this meeting. Tim Buss will review 
the wiki and Brian will review the rest of the website.


Project Schedule

    a.. Project schedule reviewed and updated in today's meeting.  Latest 
versions will be posted to Serena internal Sharepoint site and to the 
Eclipse website as well.


Other:

    a.. 12/07/06 Brian met with Telelogic this morning to discuss possible 
in ALF integrations. No bandwidth, not really interested.  Presented 
ALF/Applications to the Serena reps to the partners earlier in the week. 
Direct presentation to the partners is desirable; Brian will work on setting 
that up.
    b.. We need to put in a request to have approval to include Axis 2, 
JDOM, and Open SAML 1.1 in our downloads.  Tim and Brian will work this.


Decisions

    a.. Turnover 03 will be pushed from 12/15/06 to 12/20/06.  01/04/07 - 
completed and turned over to QA on 12/20 as planned.
    b.. Turnover 04 is going to be completed today.
    c.. We'll step back and use a standard ZIP file for delivery rather than 
using a self-extracting ZIP file.  We'll start this with turnover 04.
    d.. Milestone .7 will not be converted to Release 1.0.
