A correction regarding Event definition and registration. The current idea
is that tools will publish a description of the events they raise in much
the same way they publish a WSDL describing the services they provide. The
exact form of this description is still being defined but I hope to publish
a draft version very soon.
The ALF configuration Plugin is currently available and allows for manual
service flow registration and event registration. Once the format of the
event description is finalized the ALF Configuration Pluigin will be
extended to read that description. Automating Service Flow registration is
less clear. We have made some internal attempts to do that but these need
some more work and we haven't focused on that recently..
As Brian states, Service Flow design is considered outside the scope of ALF
since BPEL engines often come with their own and Eclipse has its own effort
to create one.
