In your client, you have written

Can you check what happens if you replace it by

> // Locate the service using SCA APIs
>         SCADomain domain = SCADomain.newInstance("demoSCA.composite"); 


On the link StÃphane pointed to, the composite extension is provided in 
the new instance argument. If the composite is in the "src" folder of 
your project, the service should be found.
