That long list of errors does seem odd ... and not really sure what that 
is from .... may have been a timing issue with the system a little 
overloaded today.

BUT, upgrading from Ganymede to Galileo is not supported. You should 
start off with one of the main packages found at 
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/ and then install other items into that 
install.
