[news.eclipse.platform] rcp application and file association

Hi all,

Is it possible to create an associate between file extension and rcp 
application?

I mean .
I have a file created with my plug-in . what I would love is:

a)	If a double click on the file (windows os) and the RCP application is 
closed . be able to start the rcp and load the file
b)	Double click in the file and if the rcp application is already started 
just prompt to load the script

any suggestion will be appreciated ...
