[news.eclipse.platform] 404 page not found during eclipse software update

I have recently installed Ganymede and it is working fine. The following
problem happens during the software update process:
I go to Help, Software Updates, Available software. Two items appear -
Eclipse Project Update Site and Ganymede. I've run the Ganymede update
without problems.
When I try to run and update for the Eclipse Project Update Site, I get a
404 Page Not Found error on web page:
http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.4/plugins/com.ibm.icu.base_3.8.1.v20080530.jar
If you type this link into a web browser you get the same error.
What's the new page for the JAR file and how do I tell Eclipse where the
new page is?
