Hi,
I'm in the process of migrating our product to Eclipse 3.4. We are using
feature based .product files in order to build the product. After
updating all changed features (urgently missing a feature to validate
the .product file: it seams a lot of projects have redesigned their
features) the build is running, but I noted some problems.
1. The product uses its own icon. But this is not used, but the eclipse
icon.
2. The resulting product cannot be updated. When I invoke 'Software
Updates...' it says: Cannot launch the Update UI. This installation has
not been configured properly for Software Updates.
These problems did not occure using eclipse 3.3. Has someone experienced
the same problems? Any suggestions how to solve these problems?
