[news.eclipse.platform] How to contribute to Eclipse's Properties view?

I would like to show some of the persistent properties of the project (base on IProject with a nature) along with the default "Properties" view when the project is selected (see attachment).

Is this something the is doable? If so, I would like to know how this can be done.
