hello,
has anybody an idea what happened if the popinfo window appears ?
at this pc I have the problem that if I write a dot after an object the
popinfo prevents me from writing.
eg. :
anywhere in my class I type
StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer();
sb.
after giving the dot I can't write anymore. Only ESC (to close the
window), TAB (to go inside) or the arrow down keys are still acting. I
know that this doesn't happen at any pc - if I used 3.2 at another pc the
content assist works fine. At now I disabled content assist - but this
should not be the solution
At this pc I tried a lot of combinations - eclipse 3.3 with java 1.6 or
1.5_13 or eclipse 3.2 with java 1.4.2 or 1.5_13. For every test I
deinstalled java completly.
what may be responsible that the popinfo window reacts at my environment
like a modal dialog box ?
And do you thing that this is a bug ?
