While Java6 is not a reference platform [1], you're certainly welcome to 
try and I'm sure there are many that uses it on a daily basis (I mean 
both testers and end users). I'm guessing Eclipse is crashing for both 
JRE 1.4.2 and JRE 1.5.0?
