Hi Andreas,

In an earlier milestone for 3.5, I started with the "Eclipse Platform 
SDK" package and managed to do it using those instructions. I haven't 
tried it with the GA version of 3.5 yet.

I usually start with the Eclipse Platform SDK package on my machine, 
because then I can do plug-in development in the PDE. Maybe the 
instructions are specific to using the "Platform SDK" package, I don't know.
