Every time somebody complains on the SWT bug fixing/improvement rate,
the answer is invariably "join the community and help".
The message is not very encouraging.
What the people get from this message is that the current level of
investment is not enough to sustain the development of SWT as a general
purpose GUI toolkit, but is mostly aimed at supporting Eclipse itself.
But, of course, SWT is so good that cannot be ignored by the application
developer: it simply provides a better solution.
Maybe the Eclipse foundation should make efforts to find more sponsors
for this wonderful technology?
