I suspect this will affect your result.  Jazz has a custom browser component
that's separate from the Browser, but is mozilla-based and therefore uses
the same native mozilla "instance", so any global changes it makes will be
reflected in the Browser as well.  Try your case on SLES10 without Jazz, I
think it will work.
