[news.eclipse.platform.swt] Re: SWT Support for AIX 64 bit?

Hi,
Thanks for the response. In return I shall ask an even more unlikely
question.
Is there a pure Java version of SWT for use in headless environments? In
this case we are running from the command line and are actually just
using SWT for drawing graphs and saving them to files. (We share code
with another application that uses the SWT to provide a full user
interface and do similar things.)
I shall also be trying to track down an AIX expert to see if there's any
magic that would allow these libraries to be loaded, if I find a
solution that way I will post the answer here.

Hi Howard. I remembered seeing an article in Eclipse Magazine, and here
is a copy of it. I think it is/was a project to be able to run Eclipse
(or I would guess other SWT apps) entirely on Swing. Hope this helps. Mark
