[news.eclipse.platform.swt] Re: SWT Support for AIX 64 bit?
|
Hi Howard,
This doesn't exist, and I don't think it has ever been requested, so you
could enter a Feature Request for it at
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Platform&component=SWT&bug_severity=enhancement .
While swt/eclipse is motif-based on AIX I can't realistically see this work
being done. If the AIX port was to become available in a gtk flavour then
this would be more doable since swt's gtk codebase is already marked up for
64-bit pointers.
