[news.eclipse.platform.swt] Re: Screen patches, still occuring?

This problem exists for years and I wonder whether this will be
fixed at all. It works ok only for snippets and simple ui programs.
With this problem remaining, it's pointless to develop s/w
using SWT, JFace, RCP, etc., at all.

I am not sure how much Eclipse foundation is committed to
resolve this issue as soon as possible? One thing I can say
is that with this remaining, it cannot be used broadly,
other than writting simple ui programs.
