Because plain SWT is more light weight?
Because there is this small little tiny thing called RCP?
Because there are people who don't know the Swing-API as well as they do
the SWT one?
You have a product built SWT and want to run it on OS-X?
There are many many other reasons not to use Swing on OS-X although I
agree that Swing on OS-X looking really good because it comes from Apple
:-)
If SWT uses old Mac interfaces, I don't think it will justify for Mac.
IMHO, SWT greately improves Swing on Windoes.
On Linux, I think Swing is better, because Linux native interface is
terrible.
On Mac, I found Swing is quite decent. If Mac SWT is still old interface,
no point using it, don't you agree?
R.
I can only agree with the point that it would be great if SWT could use
the Cocoa interface instead of carbon ones.
