Does this discussion has something to do with the original problem we 
are discussing in this thread or are you simply frustrated by the fact 
that the eclipse-help-systems needs to start a tomcat / jetty to be 
useable? If you have suggestions how this could be improved you are more 
than welcome to file bugs and include alternative solutions.

I'm not sure but I think the JDT-Tooltips don't need a server to run 
they simply display the browser control and push HTML-content directly 
into it. I'm still convinced that whenever you'll have to present HTML 
which goes beyond bold/italic you are much better of embedding the 
browser inside your tooltip.

Am I missing something?
