[news.eclipse.platform.swt] what is RTFWriter?

can anyone please tell me what RTFWriter is used for.
it is defined in the package
org.eclipse.swt.custom.StyledText.RTFWriter
but i am unable to create the RTFWriter object.I dont understand why?..!!
RTFWriter is defined as a class within StyledText.But i cannot access
it.Idont know how to use.
Please kindly help me in this problem
