Since this comes up every so often, I figured I'd add my $0.02.
I use Eclipse (3.1M7) on Redhat Enterprise Linux (with Gtk 2.2.4) as my
everyday work environment and it simply isn't an issue for me whatsoever.
And no, I'm not running it on some multiprocessor box.
