[news.eclipse.platform.swt] Using Sleak plugin

I am trying to use the 'Sleak' plugin to track SWT's use of OS (Windows 2000) resources (handles). Although I have a Sleak view showing, when I click on 'Snap' or 'Diff' an error dialog pops up with the message 'Warning: Device is not tracking resource allocation'.

The Sleak plugin page at EclipsePlugins (http://www.eclipse-plugins.info/eclipse/plugin_details.jsp?id=245) states 'The Sleak plug-in requires the following line in the Eclipse .options file. org.eclipse.ui/trace/graphics=true' - however, I am not sure where this .options file is/should be. I tried creating one in the installed plugin directory, but this did not seem to have the desired effect.

Could someone spell this out for me - how do I switch the plugin on?

Sorry if this question is answered in another post, but here at work I am limited to web access and my google searches did not turn up any useful answers.

Thanks for any guidance,

Russell Dodd.
