Hi Karsten,

I know that we would be interested in seeing such a technology come to 
Eclipse, but we obviously also have a commercial interest in seeing it 
happen.

My suggestion would be that if you want to see a SWT port happen that 
you get it it started and put your work on SourceForge licensed under 
the CPL.  You will then be able to manage contributions through patches 
and/or CVS access to everyone's mutual benefit.

Although Scott Stanchfield and I are competitors in the GUI builder 
arena, we've been able to use the open source way of managing a project 
to productively collaberate on Sweet.  I think that this method may be 
productive for you as well.
