[news.eclipse.platform.swt] SWT - Looks not like it should... or does it?
|
Hi!
I use SWT and Linux (GTK). Now, I run my developed application under Windows XP.
Well, I have read a lot about Skins/Themes and SWT in this newsgroup. So I
figured out, that a SWT Application looks always like any other
application depended on the currently used
windows theme.
But why do I have differences like them:
1.) My Text components aren't 3D. They are always white boxes
(rectangles) without any borders.
2.) My Button components won't get highlighted, while I put the mouse
cursor over them
3.) Same problem with TabItems.
4.) When I set a Text component not editable it has the same effect like
setting it invisible.
5.) The edges of the borders of my titled groups are squared and not
round...
My reference was the dialog: "Display Properties". Why is the look like
it looks? Can I change it? It seems, that the only "components" that use
the XP-Style are the Titlebar and Scrollbars. Changing the system
fontsize effects the SWT Components too.
Well, can you help me, espacially with the problem discribed in 1.)?
Kind Regards
Stefan
