Hi Schnul,

I've tried the thumbnails snippet on a folder with some large images
similar to yours, without particular problem, with the default VM settings
- on Windows.

The best would be to open a bug report and attach your image (as a zip
file, if it's uncompressed). Please indicate the platform, the swt build
number and the VM you are using. It could be something bizarre with the
decoder of that type of image (BMP? JPEG?..). Or a bug on the platform you
are on, the VM you are using etc.
