I have watched our application react at glacial speeds (pre-global
warming) on Unix. I have reports from both AIX and Linux (SuSE 10 SP1)
users internally. I have watched it take real wall clock time just to tab
between fields.
Typically, these systems use ReflectionX or a similar package to redirect
the display from a display-less *nix box -- I appreciate there would be
some loss of performance in that environment, but nothing like we're
seeing.
Any particular place to start looking for what might be wrong? Any
particular reason to suspect 3.4.x (no one recalls any complaints from our
last release which shipped on 3.3.x)?
