I am developing a RCP app. I noticed a peculiar (at least for me)
behavior of the Update Manager. If I run the RCP as an application and
try to get my new feature from the update site, I set up for the app, it
works just fine. However, if I run my RCP as a product (Run->Run
Program) the update shows me the "Resulting configuration does not
contain the platform" error message and does not allow to proceed. 
I tried both "product options" : org.eclipse.platform.ide and
org.eclipse.sdk.ide. I understand that my configuration is messed up
however I cannot figure out what maybe causing the problem.
Any hints?
