I'm seeing similar Error 42 java.lang.RunTimeException problem as well when trying to export my RCp application...  I'm plodding thru McAffer's and Lemieux's new RCP book and in I'm in Chapter 9 where the export of the Hyperbola RCP application is described...  When I perform this export step, a RunTimeException Error 42 is occurring...   The application works great inside Eclipse.  There doesn't seem to be any additional DEBUG info available to pinpoint or even ballpark where this error is coming from... There is nothing output to my <workspace>/.metadata/.log file either...  help please!
