I have intalled eclipse 3.1.1 on my debian system, and tried to make a new 
RCP-application with the template "RCP application with an intro". On 
execution of it, there was the same problem --> empty view - no html is 
shown.

That indicates that there is something wrong with the linux-system. But I 
can't imagine that about 10 linux-systems where I've tested my application 
are wrong configured.
