[news.eclipse.platform.rcp] Branding problem - cannot choose product in

I've followed the "Branding your Application" article, and seen the RCP  
faq.
One of my plug-ins extends org.eclipse.core.runtime.products, but when I  
go to edit a launch configuration, under the Run a Product drop-down only  
"org.eclipse.ide.product" appears. Why is this?
