[news.eclipse.platform.pde] Re: External Jars and PDE?

Thanks I am currently working my way through that page :-)

Another thing when I rebuild the jar that is wrapped I need to wrap that jar again (I currently just use the "Plug-in from Existing JAR Archives").

Is it possibe to update the JAR-to-Plugin project to work with an unpdated jar automatically ?

Ok so a plugins external dependencies must also be plugins already "living" in the eclipse platform?

Do you of any resources that describes this process?

Do you understand what a target platform is? http://wiki.eclipse.org/PDE/User_Guide#Target_Platform

In PDE, you can manage the target platform via target definitions (check out the preference page).

If your external jar is a bundle, you can add it to the target definition and set your target platform.
