[news.eclipse.newcomer] Sounds in Server Audio don't appear to work

Eclipse 3.5.

If I go to "Server"->"Audio", then select either the "Server Started" or "Server Stopped" lines, checking the checkbox and then setting the "Audio File" to a path to an existing WAV file, will Eclipse play that sound file when the process of stopping or starting a server is completed?

It doesn't appear to do anything for me.  I've set the volume as high as it will go, and I've used sound files that I know make a sound when I play them manually.
