[news.eclipse.newcomer] updating to 3.5; workspace

I currently use Eclipse Ganymede (3.4.2; on OSX) and just downloaded 3.5.  
When I start 3.5, it asks if I want to use my existing workspace location. 
Do I?  My goal is to eventually switch over entirely to 3.5, but 
cautiously.

Furthermore, is there an easy way to import all of my existing svn 
repositories into 3.5?
