[news.eclipse.newcomer] How to make COPY and RENAME a background process

Hi all,

i noticed that a file copy (within eclipse) from one project to another
project takes some time. When the copy process is running i can see a
copy dialog, but this (modal) dialog prevent me from working as long as
this dialog is displayed.

I have linked some external ressources in my project (via Remote System
Explorer efs). Depending on file/folder size this process can take some
minutes. So it prevent me from working some minutes - really bad.

Is there a option available to make the copy / rename process a
background process and to continue working without interruption?
