Chris,

This sounds likely to be a question about tools provided by WTP.  I'm 
pretty sure there are ways to turn off the validators (probably via 
preference) but I don't know how.  I've added the WTP newsgroup to the 
"to" list, so hopefully someone will see it in that newsgroup and answer.
