[news.eclipse.newcomer] building C++ tags with eclipse

I am new to eclipse and I have a very basic question. I have installed eclipse. But I am confused which editor/IDE/plugins I should install, so that i can build tags and use tags with C++ (esp. tags with C++ virtual functions) (just like the way you can use C++ tags in visual slick) . There are too many downloads available( GFE/VE/CDT) and I am confused what all I should install.

Will appreciate a quick reply.
