Pavel,
The Javadoc that shows up in the code assist popups is read from the
source attachment for the target classes. So if you want to get the
javadoc from HashMap, you'll need to have the java source installed...
i.e. install and set up your target VM as the Java SDK, rather than a JRE.

Hi,
So I am wondering I downloaded javadoc zip file from sun's website and
extracted it. Then if I go to preferences there is no way to point to
that javadoc however if you create a new project then there's a way to
point there. Now when I do point there it validates fine blah blah but
when I actually go and type stuff and when I see the box I dont see
any explanation next to it. Is this normal. Should I not be seeing
anything? For example if I do java.util.HashMap and then I start to
list the methods with . operator it gives me the methods of course but
not the explanation of them.
You mean JDK right?
