[news.eclipse.newcomer] Data Modeling With Eclipse ?

Folks,

I've used Eclipse occasionally for developing bits and pieces of (mainly
Java) code.   However application development isn't my "day job" : it is
database design and administration.

I looked around the Eclipse website, thinking there would be tools for data
modeling available and have basically drawn a blank.

I thought that the "Eclipse Modeling Framework" held promise, but it seems
to be totally concerned with Application / Object Modeling.   There are UML
tools as well, but nothing for the pure data person.

What I'm looking for is -

Entity Relationship Diagramming Tool
Reverse Engineering of ERD from popular database via direct connection and
DDL file
Logical Model ---> Physical Model transformation
DDL generation from physical model

Anyone got any pointers ?

Or am I the only one who would still wish to use such tools ?
