[news.eclipse.newcomer] How to get VE running

I just downloaded today VE 1.0.1 and tried to use it. After defining a new 
swing.jframe, the editor tried to start and gave me following messages:

"Error trying to set new file into editor. Reason: An internal error 
occurred during Create Remote VM for Visual Editor for Java"
<tried to access method 
org.eclipse.pde.internal.core.WorkspaceModelManager.getWorkspacePluginModel(Lorg/eclipse/core/resources/IProject;)Lorg/eclipse/pde/core/plugin/IPluginModelBase; 
from class org.eclipse.jem.internal.proxy.core.ProxyPlugin>

What's the reason? Has anybody a suggestion?
